Graduate Resources:

Loan Options: Government and private loans are available with different eligibility criteria and terms of repayment. Learn more about each type of loan option and loan limits: Direct Unsubsidized loans, Direct PLUS loans, Grad PLUS loans and private loans.

Grants: Grants, unlike loans, don’t have to be paid back. At the graduate level, you can seek out funding from federal, state, professional and private organizations. Each grant has its own criteria for application and may be awarded based on a wide range of factors, including affiliation with an organization, industry, special interest, or religious or educational operation. Often, organizations have separate and special applications for grant consideration.

Employer Tuition Assistance: Your employer may offer a tuition assistance program that will reimburse you for part or all of your tuition expenses. Some programs have specific academic performance (grade) standards. For instance, they may reimburse 100% for an A and 80% for a B. In addition, they may have length-of-employment eligibility requirements. Check with the human resources department at your place of employment.

Important Dates

To get the best financial aid package, you should apply for financial aid as soon as possible. If you haven’t done so already, please complete the FAFSA application online.
